Is Psalm 110 and Deuteronomy 32:17 prophetic of 2010?
J. R. Church found hidden prophetic meanings in the Psalms (Hidden
Prophecies in the Psalms; Prophecy Publications , Oklahoma City, OK
,1990). The Book of Psalms like the Torah has a Genesis, Exodus,
Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy section. Each of these Torah Books
(the 5 Books written by Moses) is unique except for the Book of
Deuteronomy, which is a review of the Exodus wanderings and rehashes
prior events. Because of this, J. R. Church was concerned that the
precision of prophetic predictions would end with the last of the
Prophetic Number’s Psalms at Psalm 106. Is this the case? Now what about
Psalm 110? |

This Psalm at first reading, surely doesn’t seem to
apply at all for this year 2010. It is very Messianic and very much end
time. Not only is it end time, but imminent end times! Are we that
close? Does it look as if the New World Order is ready to be unveiled?
Is evil and darkness found at each and every street corner? Hard times
are here for professing Christians. Today, you can profess and champion
any other religion, except Christianity, without social/governmental
watchdogs. |

In Psalm 110, the Father is telling Yeshua Jesus
“buckle-up.” The time is near as your enemies are getting out of hand.
Let us file the flight plan and get this Seventieth week of Daniel in
sight. When does the balloon go up? Is 2012 a critical year? It is on
Satan’s pagan calendar! God’s calendar is in Sabbatical years (a Hebrew
sequence of seven years) and mo’eds or appointed times as the Biblical
Feasts of the Lord. We are now in the midst of a Sabbatical year cycle
which started on 1 Tishri 2008. Watch for signs in the Heavens on the
1st of Av and at Sabbatical year-end! |

Deuteronomy 32:16 (KJV)16 “They provoked him to
jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to
anger. Sound like the Haiti earthquake! Haiti is a place of witchcraft,
sorcery and child sacrifices. Has God not shown his anger?

We find in the Hebrew writings that information is
occasionally scattered in non-chronological order as finding the fallen
angels in Jude and James. What about the “mighty angel” in Revelation
10:1-11 (KJV). The angel is Yeshua Jesus as that “lion that roarth”- the
lion of the tribe of Judah. In the chronology of the unfolding of Book
of Revelation, Christ takes the Throne in chapter 5. Now, He appears as
a “mighty angel” in chapter 10! This must be a cryptic appearance of
Christ before the tribulation begins to unfold. Is it aimed at us today?

Revelation 10:1-3 (KJV)1 And I saw another
mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow
was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as
pillars of fire: 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set
his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3 And cried
with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven
thunders uttered their voices.

What are the seven thunders? They are the seven
voices of the Lord as king David writes in Psalm 29. He is the One that
stand on many waters. We always wondered, without explanation, “What is
the “little book?” Could it be the Lamb’s Book of Life? The book that
has God’s completed mystery which He has given in times past to His
servants, the prophets.----containing the mystery of the Rapture? The
book will be sweet to the righteous but to the unbeliever it will be
bitter to stomach. In chiastic Hebraic metaphoric poetry, sweet is good
and represents the God’s sons of light while bitter is evil and
represents the sons of darkness ( Isaiah 5:20 (KJV). Hence Apostle John,
“Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues,
and kings.” Bring as many as you can to salvation to be in the Lamb’s
Book of Life. |

Folks we are close! Prepare yourself to be that
spotless bride. Come out of Egypt and Babylon. Leave the
Alexandrian/Constantine/Church of Rome’s pagan, religious dogma. Return
to the unadulterated 1st century Church and have the faith once
delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). |

Bewitched Laodicea …our status
The burden of Laodicea, a bucket of spiritually dead bones, is arising
in these last days, as a spirit of slumber and sleep, of self-indulgence
and guiltlessness. Yeshua Jesus identified this spiritual apathy as a
“lukewarm” Church body or believer. It is becoming more obvious each day
that we in America are worse than ‘lukewarm,” as our condition of
slumber, indifference, and lack of concern is a state of the “living
dead.”
Revelation 3:15-16 (KJV) 15 I know thy
works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or
hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I
will spue thee out of my mouth.
Today, the world is beyond the “lukewarm” stage of loss
of moral absolutes, tolerance and relativism, having traded the truth for the
lie. A slumbering state has come upon the world. What has happened to
traditional American values? We don’t care about our
political rulers or the current economic crash. For example: In the
latest European parliamentary election on June 7, 2009 only 43% of
Europeans voted ---a record low turnout, despite the overwhelming
financial crisis and political turmoil in Europe, a situation that was
similar to the November 2008 U.S. elections. We are in the midst of a
global (Alzheimer’s) memory lapse. Winston Churchill said that people can
make the right choice when there is no choice and the reality of this is
on the near horizon.
Mega churches are filled with enthusiasm, such as at a Bronco football game, but
there's no
spiritual depth to the teaching of God’s Holy Word. We are
reminded of Paul's letter to Timothy speaking of the the characteristics
of the last days - II Tim 3:5 - "having a form of godliness, but denying
the power thereof." God's judgment is
coming. Can you hear the hoof beats of the horses of the Apocalypse?
God’s Churches are “lukewarm” and the pulpit is devoid of the power and
might of God’s Word. The Roman Emperors dealt with these circumstance in
their society, as characterized by their slogans - “give the people their
circuses.” In other words, distract the people, keep them busy and uninformed. There is
a media blackout on television networks regarding the real news,
while they keep their audience updated with the latest in “Dancing with the Stars” or “Idol.”
Repent, repent! Turn to Jesus Christ today, while it is yet today. There is
only one narrow road to heaven and to our Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and
that is only by the Blood of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha’Masiach.
Has the rat-race of economic struggle, governmental control,
hopelessness and self-sufficiency caused our brain to shutdown? There is
a demonic spirit upon our nation, one of slumber and apathy. One who
wishes to kill, steal and destroy our Christian values? In the U.S. and
worldwide, we see the rise of anti-Christianity and anti-Semitism.
Having a Christian bumper sticker makes you a terrorist….population
profiling. Don’t run a yellow light as there are surveillance cameras
out there. Big Brother is watching….but who cares?
We are at the "end of The Age”…the fullness of the Gentiles. We
are privileged to be a part of that last generation. Prophecy is full of
the events of these days. Jesus said “it will be a time of trouble as
has never been seen before.” Yes, unimaginable trouble for a sleeping
world. The “bewitched Laodicea” has no concept of God's judgment and
Tribulation wrath coming upon a spiritually slumbering world. The population
of the
U.S. approaches 600 million and that of the world greater than 6
billion.. With the forth coming terrible times of the Tribulation
reign of antichrist, the loss of human life will be as the world has
never before seen. Beware of the guillotine and sword of Allah.
Matthew 24:21-22 (KJV) For
then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of
the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days
should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's
sake those days shall be shortened.
As you see these things happening, look-up for your Salvation draws
nigh. If you don’t have a personal relationship with the Father through
Jesus Christ...seek Him today…while it is yet today. Tomorrow is
promised to no one.

FULFILLMENT OF THE FEAST OF
SHAVUOT/PENTECOST

Since the last Newsletter, we have celebrated the spring feasts of
Passover, Unleavened Bread, and the Feast of Firstfruits (the
remembrance of Christ’s resurrection), culminating in the Feast of
Shavuot/Pentecost the end of May. These Biblical feasts are woven
together by the counting of 50 days from the Sabbath after Passover to
the Feast of Pentecost according to Leviticus 23.. Interestingly, this
year, the Feast of Pentecost fell on the same day for both the Messianic
believers (those who observe the Biblical Feasts of the Lord), and for
Christianity (who observe the Church of Rome’s liturgical calendar as
instituted sometime after 325 AD). Was there something significant about
these dates occurring simultaneously? Or was it mere coincidence?
Someone has stated that “coincidence” is not a Kosher word. Is it
possible that the Lord is revealing something to His people about this
event? On God’s time clock, are we approaching the time of the “fullness
of the Gentiles” to which the Apostle Paul refers in the book of Romans?
Rom 11:25 - “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of
this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits, that
blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the
Gentiles be come in.” |
In review, you may recall that the Feast of “Shavuot” (in Hebrew) or
“Pentecost” (in Greek - meaning “50") is the time when the 10
Commandments were given (written on tablets of stone) at Mount Sinai.
The Feast of Pentecost was later fulfilled after Jesus Christ’s
resurrection (as recorded in Acts 2) when the disciples received the
baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit (and the commandments were written on
their hearts). The mandate that was given them (and, ultimately, to all
who would believe in Jesus Christ) in Acts 2:38-39 - “Repent and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission
of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the
promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,
even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” As we have previously
noted in our writings on the Feasts of the Lord, the only feast of the
Lord that the church has celebrated is the Feast of Pentecost. Pentecost
seems to have been in a perpetual spiritual fulfillment since that time.
With the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a new season had begun
- a time of reconciliation for not only the Jews - but for the Gentiles.
Recall in John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life.” Eph 2:12 defines a people who “were without
Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from
the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.”
And Eph 2:16-19 - “that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by
the cross, having slain the enmity thereby. And came and preached peace
to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through Him
we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore, ye are
no more strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and
of the household of God.” These verses in Ephesians 2 help clarify these
“times of the Gentiles” and the plan of God to bring ALL who are willing
into His Kingdom, that none should perish. The coming of the Holy Spirit
as a baptism of fire upon the 1st Century believers was the power that
set the Gospel message of salvation ablaze beginning in Jerusalem and
going to the four corners of the earth. In this Spiritual season of
Pentecost - God, the Father, through the Holy Spirit is calling
“whosoever will” that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles
through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit
through faith (Gal 3:14). “For ye are all children of God by faith in
Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:26). “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth
the Spirit of His Son into your hearts crying, Abba, Father” (Gal. 4:6).
Pentecost is celebrated at the time of the wheat harvest. In fact,
Jewish synagogues read the book of Ruth at the time of this feast. It is
the story of Ruth, a Gentile Bride, and Boaz, her kinsman redeemer, - a
portrayal of another Kinsman Redeemer (Jesus Christ) and His body of
believers (a Gentile Bride). |

In June, a few members of JCIA attended a conference in Albuquerque. At
that conference, one of the leaders gave me a prophecy that I believe
was significant not only for myself, but for the body of Christ. During
the session, my hands started to get extremely hot, as though they were
burning. I went forward to receive a word from the one ministering, and
when he approached me, I stated “my hands feel like they are on fire.”
He responded “not only your hands, but your whole body is on fire. You
represent the fullness of the meaning of Pentecost. And now we are
moving out of Pentecost into Tabernacles.” As I contemplated on what
this meant, I shared this with my husband, Fred. One of my favorite
topics to study and teach is the Biblical Feasts of the Lord. He
reminded me that I have taught that the Feast of Pentecost has been a
perpetual feast for 2,000 years - representing “the times of the
Gentiles.” Is this prophetically another sign that we are coming to the
fulfillment of these times of the “fullness of the Gentiles?” We will
have to wait and see. |

Genesis 3:15 (KJV)
"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman,
and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou
shalt bruise his heel."
The Assyrians scattered and relocated the nations that
they captured. They completely rearranged the population of the Northern
Kingdom (Ephraim) and left a few vagrant Jews who intermingled to become
the half-breed Samaritans. The Israelites of the House of
Israel (Ephraim) were assimilated into the Melo Ha’ Goyim (nations of
the world) ..to be scattered to the four corners of the compass. They
became a non-people just as the Hittites, Amorites, Jebusites, Girgasites,
Hivites, Arkites, Arvadites, Zemarites, Hamathites, and other “ites” of
Canaan who have a lost heritage and identity, and have vanished from the
history books. Ephraim vaporized…. vanished ….was assimilated into
the pagan Gentile nations for the past 2730 years. Today,
the House of Judah, with its appended Israelite tribes are back in the
Land, but, as a population of 6 million Jews, they are not the sands of
the sea. Gentile Christianity numbers nearly 1.8 billion. The world-wide
Jewish population approaches 14 million of the 6.6 billion (21% of
total world population).
In Hosea Chapter One, the Almighty Father
prophesies of His plan to scatter His apostate people of Ephraim, and to sow
them amongst the nations. They would not be subject to the
anti-Semitism that the adversary has manifested toward the Jewish people. The
southern kingdom fell into captivity as the “wandering Jew," who was
scattered over the world globe, as salt and pepper. They were not
assimilated but maintained their Hebrew/Jewish identity, as promised to
Abraham. In Hosea, we also see Ephraim re-gathered as “you are my
people, the sons of the Living God and I will have mercy upon her that
had not obtained mercy and I will say to them which were not my people,
Thou art my people and they shall say Thou art my God.”
God has foreordained a plan to produce fruitful
ground for the seed of these “lost” Israelites amongst the melo ha’ goyim (Gentile nations) to
become the sands of the sea, dust of the earth, and stars of the sky. A
fertile soil was being prepared for the sowing of “Israelite seed”
amongst all peoples, tongues and nations. These inbred Gentiles would be
that targeted population of “lost sheep and “sheep not of my fold” to
welcome and receive the Gospel message of Yeshua Jesus. The Holy Spirit
would seal them. The purpose of Father was that everyone would have an
opportunity to come to salvation and achieve everlasting life through
His Only Begotten Son.
In his
teachings, Thurman Scrivner relates that the
offspring of a religious couple over 150 years were about 550
individuals and in another family over the same period of time, there
were about 750 individuals. Abba Father said “multiply over the face of
the Earth and be fruitful.” Who really knows their relatives back 10
generations? …7 generations? …. 5 generations? However, today with
family tree mapping from historical records and genetic libraries or
with genetic Y-chromosome DNA and Mitochondrial DNA mapping, lost
relatives are being found.

To demonstrate extensive worldwide
distribution of a gene pool, observe that President Obama on his
mother’s side, and President George Bush are 10th cousins, once removed,
linked by Samuel Hinckley. Not only are they distant cousins, but they
share many relatives, who were former USA presidents and have ties to
European royalty. Hence, Obama is related to George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman, James Madison,
George Washington, Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, Abraham Lincoln,
Ulysses Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Glover Cleveland,
Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Calvin Coolidge, Hebert Hoover,
Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Richard Nixon. Other relatives include Dan
Quayle, Dick Cheney, General Robert E. Lee, Sir Winston Churchill, and
Princess Diana of England. Amazing…….but more to come! George Bush is
related to 60 royal families in Europe to include King Ferdinand I, and
all subsequent later kings of Spain, the Roman and Austrian Emperors,
the Habsburg dynasty mixing with the kings of France, Great Brittan, the
Prussian and German emperors and Russian czars……..WOW… Now, that is the
dispersion of the physical seed through intermarriage. (Abstracted from

Do we still have doubting Thomas’s regarding 2730 years
of Israelite sowing amongst the nations? The physical seed of
Northern Kingdom Israelites were intermingling amongst all peoples, tongues
and nationalities, as salt and pepper all over the world! The finding
of the
Sephardic Jew in Native American Indian and Hispanic populations speaks
to the unearthing of a layer of Ephraim in the Texas and New Mexico
sands. Many skeptics deny even the remote possibility that the “lost
tribes” of the House of Israel (Ephraim) will be restored. Yet, in the
Book of Revelation, we see tribal identity restored to the 144,000
servants of Christ, who are sealed with the Fathers name. Also, when we
Christians enter the New Jerusalem, which gate will you enter to find
the that mansion Yeshua Jesus has built for you?

Spiritual Roots of Disease

Is there a connection between sin and
sickness? Studies in the professional medical literature show that
stress and anxiety, anger and bitterness certainly do have an affect on
the body contributing to cancer, heart disease, arthritis, ulcers,
depression, and numerous other maladies. Research by Dr. Henry Wright’s
ministry, “Be In Health,” in Thomaston, GA, shows that approximately 85%
of all disease has a spiritual root related to sin, such as fear, anger,
hatred (toward self or others), lust or jealousy, or unforgiveness. The
fact that there are as many diseases in the Body of Christ as there are
in the world should be a major concern. There are several reasons for
this. One reason is that of unbelief. That is, many believers do not
believe healing is for today. There are also a number of believers who
think healing may be for others, but it is not God’s will to heal them.
But possibly the main reason for so much sickness in the Body of Christ
is that most believers are ignorant of the what the Word of God has to
say about sin and sickness. In fact, there are a number of Scriptures
that connect sin with sickness.
Following is a list of but a few of these Scriptures:
Dt 28:1-14 - Blessings for obedience; Dt 28:15-68 - Curses
for disobedience
Ps 103:2-3 (KJV) - “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all
his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy
diseases.”
Isa 53:5 (KJV) - “ But He was wounded for our transgressions, He
was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon
Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”
Prov 20:30 (KJV) - “The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil:
so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
James 5:15-16 (KJV) - “And the prayer of faith shall save the
sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins,
they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another and pray
one for another that ye may be healed.”
III John 1:2 - “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest
prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
But you may ask, “Hasn’t Jesus paid the price for us to be set free from
sin and sickness as written in Isaiah 53:5?” Yes, the price is paid for
our sin debt. Jesus Christ has made provision for forgiveness of our
sins by His shed blood, and for healing of our diseases by His broken,
pierced body. By His death and resurrection, and by the power of the Holy
Spirit in believers, He has set us free from the law of sin and death.
Jesus came to “destroy the works of the devil” (I John 3:8). Sin and
sickness are the works of the devil! Jesus Christ has provided for us to
have forgiveness of sin and freedom from sickness, if we walk after the
Spirit according to Rom 8:2 - “For the law of the Spirit of life in
Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” According
to this Scripture, Paul is saying that we can choose whom we will serve.
As spiritual beings living in fleshly bodies, we are subject to serving
either (1) the Holy Spirit, by obeying His Word, hearing His voice, (2)
the devil - spiritual powers, principalities, and rulers of the darkness
of this world (Eph 6:11-12) or (3) our own fleshly thoughts and desires.
If we choose to live in rebellion to the Word of God, we place ourselves
under the Law of Sin and Death, because we are not submitting to the
Holy Spirit to “walk after the Spirit.” Paul states in Gal 5:16 -
“...walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh
and Gal 5:18 - “But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the
law.” In other words, if you are walking after the Spirit, in LOVE, you
will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh which would place you under the
law of sin and death. According to Romans 8:1-9, when we walk according
to the flesh (sin), we place ourselves under the curse of the law which
brings sickness - and death. Though it is not God’s will for anyone to
be sick, He cannot go against His own law. When we yield ourselves to
sin, we allow Satan to have a portal of entry into our lives. He will
then have a legal right, because of sin, to bring evil contention,
confusion, strife, sickness, and even death. Jesus said, “The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10).
Many believers think of sin as only those mentioned in the 10
Commandments. While the 10 Commandments define outward sins in regard to
murder, adultery, covetousness, etc., Jesus Christ further defined that
it is the underlying heart attitude that leads to the outward actions of
these sins - to hate someone in our heart was to commit murder, to lust
after a woman in the heart was to commit adultery, and He even warned
that if we don’t forgive others from the heart, neither will our
heavenly Father forgive us. The spiritual sins of the heart, such as
anger, fear, lust, unforgiveness, hatred (toward self or others),
gossip, envy, strife, and bitterness and others will open the door to
the enemy. For many, some of these thought and behavioral patterns may
have been established in early childhood, as a result of past
experiences or traumatic events, or may have been part of a way of life
for so many years, that a spiritual stronghold has developed. It is this
“stronghold” that makes it so difficult to recognize, and then overcome these patterns.
For instance, many are unaware that a
Spirit of Fear may have gained entry during a traumatic event in an adult or
child’s life. The Spirit of Fear gives rise to ungodly thought patterns
or behaviors which often lead to sickness and disease. Fear is actually a sin that
answers to a spirit being - II Timothy 1:7 - “For God hath not given us
the spirit of fear; ...” In this verse, one of the definitions for
“spirit” in the Greek (Strong’s #4151 - “pneuma”) is “an angel, daemon.”
Rom 6:12 says - “Let not
sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the
lusts thereof.” Through our sin, we actually are serving the Kingdom of
Darkness - Rom 6:16 - “Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves
servants to obey; whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto
righteousness?” The Scriptures say “My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge” (Hos 4:6).
As we began to identify the roots of disease, we learn the importance of
taking every thought captive. We are reminded of the Scripture in II Cor
10:4-5 - “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down
imaginations and every high thought that exalteth itself against the
knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ.” We can learn to take our thoughts captive, and
discern where the thought is coming from. Is it coming from the Holy
Spirit, from the enemy, or our own fleshly desires? When we recognize
that we have been serving sin, repent of it, and renounce it, we can receive restoration and
healing. As the Holy Spirit reveals the underlying spiritual nature of
our struggles with the flesh and our diseases, we can truly say “if the
Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

The Six Doves .....by Senior Elder Roy

I was born again while working part time with the Salvation Army.
However, I did not have the opportunity to be baptized by water
immersion as Jesus had commanded. But, the Lord did hear my prayers, and
took the smoking habit from me. The Holy Spirit entered my body, and
cleansed me from top to bottom. During this time, I continued my regular
Sunday attendance at the Episcopal Church. However, I did not know much
about the Bible while with the Episcopal Church.
My wife died on March 3, 2004. After her death, I did not attend any
church. But through a quirk of fate, I was drawn to J.C.I.A. Since then,
I have read the Bible four times, and am now in my fifth reading. During
this time, I began to study more about baptism by immersion in water,
and I had the opportunity to listen to Pastor Henry Wright’s CD on
“Water Baptism.” I had been baptized as an infant by the sprinkling of
water on the head, as practiced in many churches. However, this study in
the Scriptures made me more eager to be baptized by immersion. So, one
Sabbath, I talked to the congregation about water baptism by immersion,
and asked whether there was anyone who had never been baptized in water,
or had only been baptized as an infant by sprinkling water. As it turned
out, there were five more candidates for baptism. So, on the 10th of
August 2008, after all six of us had been prepared to receive water
baptism, and the arrangements had been made. Sam and Judy Snow furnished
their back yard swimming pool for the baptism. The water was nice and
warm, and everything went well.

As each individual went forward to be baptized, a
dove alighted on the highline at the far end of the back yard/pool area.
By the time all six of us were baptized, six doves had appeared on the
highline. Everyone had noticed the gathering of the doves - six of them,
one for each person being baptized. Coincidence? I don’t think so. After
all, we were being baptized (immersed) in the same way Jesus was
baptized in the Jordan River when the dove alighted upon Him. And we
were obeying the commandment of Jesus Christ - “He who believes and is
baptized shall be saved.” |
